OUR IMPACT IS GROWING

Community Impact Award – 2022
DAWN Mother-Baby Initiative has already made a meaningful contribution to improving maternal and newborn health by reaching more than 10,000 mothers with professional care, education, and support. The initiative has conducted over 190 telehealth consultations, enabling mothers to access timely guidance regardless of their location. Through the creation of digital maternal support communities (WhatsApp & virtual meet-ups) and the strategic use of mobile technology and social media, DAWN has expanded access to reliable maternal health information, strengthened peer support, and empowered women to make informed decisions throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.
Our Mission
Our mission at DAWN Mother-Baby Care is to ensure that every mother and baby in Uganda has access to compassionate, high-quality maternal healthcare while emphasizing cultural sensitivity and community empowerment.
Our Value
We are anchored in compassion, respect, and integrity, believing in equitable access to healthcare and valuing community empowerment, innovation, and collaboration to enhance the well-being of mothers and their babies.
